ReCollections Cards + Necklets

ReCollections are a series of fine Cards, Necklets + frameable Montages made in honour of the exquisite handwork of generations of women. Each Card + Adornment in the collection is a collaboration of my favourite remnants from the studio, pieced together with the found + given Vintage hand stitched + embroidered linens.

These Vintage linens hold a quiet simple beauty, made by Matriarchal lineages of busy hands preparing for the future by filling hope chests with their handwork. Then continuing their craft of ornamenting their homes + loved ones with each heartfelt practical stitch.

This Herstory rustles in me a deep admiration for the unknown maker, so often unseen for the creative she truly was.
