After over a decade of living + building HOLD YOUR GROUND eco.couture + fine jewellery on Saltspring Island, the one-woman studio based whirlwind, moved her creative venture to Vancouver BC, adding moonlighting in Costumes for Film + TV to her repertoire.
Known for RePurposing luxury Salvaged + Vintage materials into distinctive au courant ReConstructed garments, making adornments of Fine Jewellery, and ReCollections Cards of fibre + paper.
While continuing to make things one at a time in her Hold Your Ground studio, Ayla also works on contract for the Film + TV Industry. All the while nurturing her love and passion for Cowboy Boot Making.
